This is a common problem and can happen to any webcam that uses a weird resolution in XSplit. Why does my webcam record in a small screen in the top left corner of the screen? In this new properties window you’ll be able to add a background, which you can do from either selecting from an image from your PC or uploading your own via Add -> Upload. Yes! Sometimes XSplit won’t let me select my webcam to record with it.
